(Frequently Asked Questions)

The following are some of the questions we are asked on a regular basis, which may help answer your queries regarding Dean's.

Q. Is your site secure for joining the Dean's Collectors Club or buying a Dean's bear online?
A. Yes, the Dean's site has secure online ordering. The form for joining the Dean's Collectors Club opens in a new window via our secure server and a lock icon appears in your browser bar. The Dean's catalogue range and Dean's Direct can be purchased via our secure Shopping Cart.

Q. Can I buy directly from Dean's?
A. Yes. We now sell our main Catalogue range direct via mail order and our online shopping cart. The Dean's Direct collection can also be purchased online, these bears are usually specific offers for members of the Dean's Collectors Club.

Q. Can I still buy Dean's through my local retailer?
A. Yes, Dean's still sell to retailers around the UK. Visit the Stockists page to find your nearest Dean's retailer. Many have excellent websites and mail order facilities and should be able to help.

Q. I am wanting to identify if an old toy is a Dean's/ How can I find out more information about an old Dean's toy?
A. We are not able to identify or value old Dean's products. If you are wanting information on toys and bears from our past, we recommend either of the two books published on the history of Dean's, both available via Dean's Direct.

Q. I have an old Dean's product. How can I find out how much it is worth?
A. We are not able to give valuations from Dean's - this is the domain of antiques experts, for which we are not really qualified to give advice. We would suggest contacting auction houses or antiques television shows. There are also a number of antiques and collectables magazines on the market which may have useful contacts.
